Mobil fire extinguisher service – SKID workshop
I receive more and more a question about our complete mobil fire extinguisher service solution:
“What is the size? Can I put this into XY type of van? “
This is the reason why I would like to give information about the sizes. I give our reccomendation as well. Basically the module is 1200 mm (width) x 1250 mm (depth) x 1452 mm (height), that is why we could install it easly into a bigger wan.
Special solution – mobil fire extinguisher service
We had projects when the customers asked us to install the skid into a very small space. Typical van is the FIAT SCUDO. In these cases we have to customize our solution. It could be useful to access underground garages with a limited heights. The disadvantage of this solution is that:
- customized solution is more expensive
- limited space for other accessories
- you could use smaller CO2 cylinder
You could see example pictures on this solution on the right column. We just recommend this solution when there is a hugh amount of fire extinguisher at a contracted partner. In this case you have to reach the areas anyway.
Standard solution- mobil fire extinguisher service
In the standard solution you have enough space for everything
- SKID
- CO2 gas cylinder. A regular 50 liter (37,5 kg CO2) cylinder height is 1650-1700 mm with valve
- fire extinguishing powder
- other accessories for maintenance
We like the regular solutions when there is no special need. The work is more comfortable in it. A good example on the vans could be: FIAT DICATO, MERCEDES SPRINTER, CITROEN JUMPER, FORD TRANSPORTER…
